Rules

The golden rule, Silence

We are a relaxed community, but there is one rule we enforce with ironfist due to the potential harm it can cause, even from unintentional actions

ALL INFORMATION IN OOFERS IS CLASSIFIED.

You cannot send information from here to anybody. That includes screenshots of events, announcements, or important channels, as well as ingame screenshots of our locations. You can't send chat logs or any of that around either. Depending on the severity you will be fined or even banned.

info

Outside of the golden rule we are forgiving and don't enforce rules unless neccessary and in cases of accidents we usually dont hand out punishments.

Server rules

  1. No Bullying. We are all comrades here you. Don't bully other people and don't abuse your power to bully people. Even in this forsaken community where its rare treat eachother with respect.
  2. No spamming or advertising
  3. DEGENERACY isn't tolerated. This reflects on the Faction. We don’t want to see NSFW gifs, or slurs in the chat. Keep that to servers without minors.

In game rules

  1. Dont be an asshole in-game. This reflects poorly on all of us. This extends to other discord servers related to starscape.
  2. No killing allies or fellow oofers. This is called awoxing
  • Intentionally awoxing will lead to 50k+ fine and you will have to refund their ship
  • If you accidentally awox someone you have to refund their ship
  1. Follow orders of your superiors especially in fleets
  2. Pay your taxes. We may seem rich but the benefits are paid by our collective work

Punishments

Warns

Warnings are either given formally or verbally. This is your chance to stop and learn from your mistakes

Fines

Fines are enforced by either deduction from oof coins or manual payment in game. After a fine is given it has 5% weekly interest by default if not paid in a week. We reserve the right to fine allies and nap members if our agreements allow it in these cases defaulting on payment moves the responsibility to the members faction.

Mutes, timeouts, kicks and bans

We usually stray away from traditional punishments due to them not being effective in community like ours. If you deserve a mute we usually warn or give a short mute to give us time to investigate the situation. In cases where you deserve multiple mutes we are far more likely to part ways with you.

Moderator abuse and appeals

If you feel like you were punished unjustly please escalate it first to HR or senior officer. If the resolution is unstatisfactory contact iraas.
